Lindenwood lived up to its ranking (2nd in Division II), outpacing Tiffin University 20-3.

The Lions (3-0) opened the game with 6 consecutive goals. Elle Hamilton put TU on the board for the first time at the 9:33 mark of the first half with a free position goal to make it 6-1.

After the Lions tacked on another goal, Hamilton got her second free position goal to make it 7-2 but that was as close as Tiffin (0-5) would get in the game.

Lindenwood built a 12-2 halftime edge off a 19-9 shot advantage while also forcing 10 TU turnovers.

The Lions continued the assault, eventually building an 18-2 lead before TU got its last goal of the day when Hamilton finished her hat trick with an shot while falling off a pass from Daniela Carey that made it 18-3 with 7:52 left to play.

Overall LU held a big 37-14 shot lead while also forcing 17 TU turnovers while committing only 7. They also held a 10-4 ground ball advantage.

Jenay Rennie took the loss in goal, playing 30 minutes and making 5 saves. Ariel Gold started the second half and played 23 minutes, making 4 saves, while Alex Sklack finished the final 7 minutes while making 3 saves.
