Dragons Complete Day One of Bill Crabtree Invitational
The Tiffin University women's golf team traveled to Owensboro, Kentucky to take part in the Bill Crabtree Invitational, their final fall tournament.
 
The Dragons shot a 325 in round one, good for 10th place out of a total of 15 teams. They sit just two strokes behind Lewis and 12 strokes outside of the top five.
 
Lisa Marie Schumacher led the way for TU with an even par of 72, which puts her in a tie for third place overall. She is currently one stroke behind individuals from Drury and Ferris State, who are both tied for first place.
 
Following Schumacher is sophomore Abby Thompson in a tie for 33rd place with a score of 81 for the opening round. Both Jordan Van Meter and Jeanne Dolle scored an 86, putting them in a tie for 59th.
 
Rounding up the scoring for Tiffin was Abby Davis with a 93 in a tie for 79th and Sydney Ott with a score of 100, placing her in a tie for 87th.
 
The tournament will continue with round two tomorrow, October 23rd, as Schumacher looks to pick up another first place finish.
