Schumacher Tied for First at the End of Day One

The Dragons traveled next door to Findlay, Ohio to compete in the William Beall Fall Classic at Findlay Country Club on Monday.

Lisa Marie Schumacher (71-70; 141) followed up a one-under-par performance in round one with an even better -2 in round two, tying her for the tournament lead after the opening two rounds.

As a team, Tiffin (311-319; 630) places 10th out of 14 total teams, 10 strokes behind Missouri – St. Louis and one stroke ahead of Walsh in 11th.

Schumacher was followed by Abby Thompson (80-80; 160) and Jordan Van Meter (79-83; 162), who are separated by just two strokes in ties for 43rd and 49th places. Jeanne Dolle (81-86; 167) rounds out the scoring for the Dragons in a tie for 63rd.

Alexis Zimmer (89-91; 180) is currently in 80th place while the two Dragons competing as individuals, Abby Davis (86-92; 178) and Sydney Ott (107-98; 205) are in 76th and 83rd respectively.
