The Tiffin University women's golf team placed fourth out of 11 teams at the Lady Bulldog Fall Invite with three golfers finishing inside the top-10.

As a team, the Dragons improved their overall score by eight strokes on day two (304). They finished in fourth place overall, just one stroke behind Ferris State who scored 615 for the tournament.

Lisa Marie Schumacher (77-70; 147) led the way for Tiffin, improving her score from day one by seven strokes to finish in a tie for second place. She was followed by Jordan Van Meter (77-76) and Abby Thompson (80-73) who both ended in a tie for 10th place with final scores of 153. Thompson also improved by seven strokes from her day one score.

Rounding out the scoring for the Dragons was Jeanne Dolle (78-85; 163) in a tie for 33rd followed by Alexis Zimmer (85-87; 172).

Along with finishing in a tie for second place, Schumacher was named to the all-tournament team.

Next week, Tiffin will have a short trip to Findlay, Ohio to take part in the Findlay Beall Fall Classic on October 2nd and 3rd.
