Tiffin finishes 13th at UIndy Invite

Tiffin University could not continue its upward trajectory from round two, remaining in 13th place on the final day of the UIndy Invitational.

The Dragons fell off to a 328 score after shooting 315 in round two. Combined with round one's 326 mark, the Dragons finished with a 969 total. Illinois-Springfield was in front of Tiffin with 962 while Ferris State trailed the Dragons with 973.

Findlay won the event with 886, while Lynn had 893 and Central Missouri had 895 in third.

Lisa Marie Schumacher was the most consistent Dragon at the Invite, finishing in 30th place with rounds of 77, 77, and 76 for 230.

Jordan Van Meter had a tough third round after opening with rounds of 77 and 76, shooting 85 to finish second for TU with 238.

Abby Thompson was next for TU with 247 (88-81-78), while Jeanne Dolle had 254 (84-81-89). Abby Davis had 273 after rounds of 89, 97, and 87, while Alexis Zimmer had 278 (95-90-93).
