Tiffin University placed 13th of 16 teams at the UIndy Invitational heading into round three action Sept. 12.

The Dragons struggled in the opening round, shooting 326 but chopped 11 strokes off that in round two to shoot 315. They totaled 641 after two rounds, just behind Carson-Newman and Maryville's 637 and ahead of Illinois-Springfield's 648. 

Lynn leads the pack with a low of 589, followed by Central Missouri with 591 and Findlay with 593.

Jordan Van Meter led TU's effort, finishing 28th with consistent rounds of 77 and 76 for a 153 total. Lisa Marie Schumacher was right behind after identical rounds of 77 to finish with 154.

Jeanne Dolle improved from 84 to 81 for a 165 total, while Abby Thompson had the best improvement between rounds with 88 followed by 81 for 169. Alexis Zimmer (95-90 for 185) and Abby Davis (89-97 for 186) rounded out TU's field.
