Dragons hold steady on day two of regional

Tiffin University improved by 13 strokes on day two of the NCAA East Regional, holding steady in fifth place. 

Findlay led the field with 578 while Indianapolis was right behind with 583. Wayne State stayed in the hunt in third place with 596, while Grand Valley State was fourth with 597. The Dragons have a two-day total of 607 while Missouri-St. Louis was sixth with 619 and Illinois-Springfield was seventh with 628.

The Dragons improved from 310 to 297 in round two, led by Lisa Marie Schumacher who improved by three strokes (74-71). She currently sits in 7th place.

Michaela Lindahl stayed steady with 76-77 for 153, while Amanda Johansson jumped five strokes (80-75 for 155). 

Jordan Van Meter jumped from 81 to 75 for a 156 total, tying Alexis Savage (80-76 for 156). 

Play concludes on May 10. The top six teams along with the top two individuals not on an advancing team will advance to the championships. The championships will be held May 16-20 at Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, Missouri.
