Dragons in fifth place after day one of East Regional

Tiffin University was in fifth place after the first round of the NCAA East Regional played at Springfield, Illinois.

Findlay led the field with 284 while Indianapolis was right behind with 286. Wayne State stayed in the hunt in third place with 293, while Grand Valley State shot 299. Tiffin finished with 310.

Lisa Marie Schumacher led the Dragons, finishing the day in 14th place with 74. She was two shots better than Michaela Lindahl with 76.

Amanda Johansson and Alexis Savage tied with identical 80s, and Jordan Van Meter was fifth for TU with 81.
