Dragons in 3rd after first round at SVSU Spring Invitational

Tiffin University was in third place after the first round of the Saginaw Valley State Spring Invitational.

After one round of play, Tiffin is in sole possession of third place out of 17 teams at the SVSU Spring Invite in Georgetown, Kentucky.

Findlay is sitting first with a 313 while Wayne State is in second having shot a 318. Following Tiffin's 319 is Saginaw Valley State with a 322 while Ferris State is trailing behind 1 stroke with a 323.

Amanda Johansson led the Dragons with a 77 after one. She is tied for fourth place as an individual. Lisa Marie Schumacher followed with an 80 and is doubled up with fellow teammate Jordan Van Meter for 17th as individuals. 

Michaela Lindahl also participated in the contest where she shot an 82 and is tied for 29th. Alexis Savage shot just 1 stroke higher to come in at 83. She is tied for 34th. 

Also competing as individuals were Jeanne Dolle with 83 and Abby Thompson with 85.

Play concludes tomorrow, March 19th.
