Tiffin University's women's golf team is ranked 22nd in the nation in the latest Golfstat NCAA Division II national team rankings.

The ranking is one of the best ever for a TU women's golf team, eclipsed only by the November 2020 ranking of 16th. That ranking came in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic when many Division II programs were still not competing. This year's mark comes against a fully competitive NCAA Division II field.

The Dragons trailed only the University of Findlay amongst GMAC schools, as the Oilers were ranked 6th. Walsh came in at 68th while Ohio Dominican was 75th.

The Dragons have competed in five matches so far this season, placing third at the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invite, fourth at the Ferris State Fall Invitational, and fifth at the Beall Fall Classic.

The team has also been regularly receiving votes in the national WGCA polls as they continue to garner national attention. Tiffin University's women's golf team reached another historic milestone in 2021-22, qualifying for the NCAA National Championships for the first time as a team. The team earned selection with a third-place finish at the East Regional in Kansas, Missouri. The Dragons finished 18th at the National Championships.

The national qualification marks another high point for the Dragons. In 2020-21 the team qualified its first individual golfer to the National Championships in Alice Putoud, who eventually finished 31st overall.

Statistically, this season the top four Dragons golfers are all within three strokes of each other. Lisa Marie Schumacher leads the group with a 75.77 average, followed by Amanda Johansson with 77.92, Michaela Lindahl with 78.23, and Jordan Van Meter with 78.54. Alexis Savage rounds out the top five with an 80.08 average.
