Dragons in 2nd after first day of GMAC Championships

Tiffin University improved significantly from round one to round two, finishing the day in second place at the GMAC Championships at UK Big Blue in Lexington, Kentucky.

The Dragons opened with 313 in round one and chopped 8 strokes off that score in round two to finish with 305. Their 618 total was second only to Findlay's 597 and 21 strokes ahead of third-place Malone.

Alice Putoud led the Dragons, finishing 5th overall. She opened with 78 in round one and improved to 75 in round two for a 153 total.

Amanda Johansson also made big strides between rounds, going from 80 to 74 in round two for 154.

Emily Koehler was third overall for TU with 157, opening with 75 but falling off in round two with 82. Alexis Savage was consistent, firing 80-78 for 158, while Bella Harris had a tough opening with 84 but improved to 78 in round two for 162.
