
Tiffin University's women's golf team finished third at the Beall Fall Classic, with Alice Putoud finishing second overall.
Indianapolis won the event by 22 strokes, outpacing Findlay 903-925. The Dragons were third with 958, posting a 322 score in round three. They had opened round one with the same 322 score before posting a 314 mark in round two.
Putoud was second by two strokes, shooting 76 in round three after a 70 in round two. Overall she led the team with a three round score of 222. Amanda Johansson also finished in the top 20, getting 20th with a round of 83 for a 245 three round score.
Jordan Van Meter shot 249 after rounds of 77-85-87, while Emily Koehler improved from 82 to 80 in round three for a 250 mark. Alexis Savage also shot 253 (89-81-83).
In individual action, Bella Harris shot 247, Kaylynn Adkins finished with 268, and Emily Bogner had 281.
Tiffin will hosts its Fall Invitational on Oct. 10-11 at Mohawk Golf Club as it finishes its fall season.
