Dragons lead the field at Davenport Invite

It was a banner first day at the Davenport Invitational for Tiffin University, as they lead the 11 team field after day one.

Tiffin was the lone team below 300, posting a 299 total and finishing 10 strokes ahead of Wayne State's 309. Lewis and Lake Superior State tied for third with 313 at the Invitational played at Stonehedge North Golf Club in Augusta, Michigan.

Emily Koehler was in first place after one round, shooting 72, while three other Dragons placed in the top 13. Amanda Johansson was 3rd with 74, Alexis Savage was 5th with 76, and Alice Putoud was 13th with 77. Bella Harris rounded out the field with 81.
