Dragons hold at 6th place after day two

Tiffin University's women's golf team held steady on day two of the NCAA DII East Regional, with two golfers improving their scores as TU remained in sixth place heading into the final round May 8th.
 
Indianapolis led the way with 588 and were in a dogfight with Findlay with 594. Grand Valley State was 3rd with 611 but the Dragons were also holding their own, nine strokes behind Missouri-St. Louis with a 627 score. The Dragons added one extra stroke from 313 to 314 on day two.
 
Emily Koehler led TU, cutting 5 strokes off her first round total (79-74) for 153 and tying for 15th overall. Alice Putoud tied for 25th overall in the event and shot 77-80 for 157. Alexis Savage also fired 80 for a total of 158 while Amanda Johansson shot 81 for 160. Melissa Gabriele also improved on day two from 85 to 80 for 165.
