Tiffin University's Sarah Herb and Alice Putoud were named All-GLIAC women's golfers on Thursday, with Herb earning a 2nd team selection and Putoud being a Honorable Mention selection. The Dragons' GLIAC finish was the best in school history, and it is also the first time Tiffin has had two student-athletes earn conference recognition since the 2007 season, when Tiffin competed as an NAIA program.
For Herb it is the first time she has been an All-GLIAC selection, leading Tiffin in scoring average this year with a 78. Sarah improved her scoring average by almost three full strokes, and averaged a 77.3 at the GLIAC Championships.
Alice came on strong down the stretch for the Dragons, posting a 77 average at the GLIAC Championships to lead Tiffin. Over the course of the year Putoud averaged 78.66. This is the first All-GLIAC honor of Putoud's career.
