Dragons in 5th after day one

Tiffin University's women's golf team stayed amongst the top five after round one of the Michael Corbett Fall Classic hosted by Gannon University.

The Dragons were 5th of 23 teams with a 325 score, just trailing fourth-place West Chester with 323. Kutztown led the field with 311, followed by Ashland and Franklin Pierce's 319 scores.

Sarah Herb was third overall in the field, shooting a team best 75. She was followed by Melissa Gabriele's 82 and duplicate rounds of 84 from Staci Ludwig and Alice Putoud. Emily Koehler rounded out the field with 87. 

The Dragons will finish play on Sept. 11.
