
The WGCA honored a total of 952 women's golfers on Wednesday, with five coming from Tiffin University. The Dragons' Staci Ludwig, Sarah Herb, Sophie Baun, Melissa Gabriele, and Alice Putoud were all tabbed as WGCA All-American Scholars.
For three of the individuals this is their second time being honored by the WGCA. Sarah Herb (Sport and Recreation Management), Staci Ludwig (Exercise Science), and Sophie Baun (General Science) were all 2016 WGCA All-American Scholars. For Alice Putoud (Science) and Melissa Gabriele (Cyber Defense and Information Assurance) this is their first time earning the honor.
As a team, the Dragons posted a 3.64 team GPA. On the course, Tiffin posted their lowest score at the Northwood University Invite, shooting a 642. Tiffin's top finish came at the Jon P. Spiess Memorial, taking 3rd of 10 teams.
