Dragons receive votes, rank 7th in region

Tiffin University's men's cross country is starting to attract the attention of national raters.

The Dragons received votes in the latest USTFCCCA Division II poll, coming in ranked 32nd. Only Cedarville was ranked higher amongst G-MAC schools, as the Yellow Jackets were picked 24th. Walsh also received votes.

The Dragons have won both of their races so far this season, competing at the Beaver Dam Invite and the Tiffelberg Open. Talel Khalfi was recently named USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week after breaking the school 8k record. He has placed first in both of the two meets this season.

In the Midwest Region, Cedarville is ranked 6th, just ahead of Tiffin in 7th place. Grand Valley State leads the region, followed by Saginaw Valley State and Illinois-Springfield. Michigan Tech is fourth and Lewis is fifth.
