Tiffin's Talel Khalfi has been named G-MAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.

The Dragons finished in first place out of seven teams at the Beaver Dam Invite with Talel Khalfi leading the way. Khalfi was the first to cross the line in the men's 6K with an overall time of 17:59.91. He finished roughly 33 seconds ahead of the second-place runner.

The Dragons will next run at the Tiffelberg Open on Sept. 8 at Hedges Boyer Park in Tiffin. The men's and women's races begin at 6 pm.
