Dragons men's cross squad picked 6th in G-MAC

The Tiffin University men's cross country team has been picked to finish 6th in the 2019-20 season, as the annual preseason poll was released by the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

The two Canton area institutions took the top two spots, seeing Walsh University take the top spot with 7 first place votes, and Malone University take second with 4 first place votes. Cedarville (99 points) just edged out Hillsdale College (96) for 3rd with, and Findlay grabbed the fifth spot with 81 points. The Dragons sit just outside the 5th spot, receiving 62 points while Trevecca Nazarene was right behind with 56 points.

Tiffin finished 7th at the G-MAC Championships last year, led by returner Stephen Korir. Korir finished 11th out of 148 runners with a time of 27:12.4 to lead the Dragons. His performance earned him selection to the G-MAC Second Team.
