Ruben Fonga posted two more singles victories at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships at Allendale, Michigan.

Fonga's wins advanced him to the semifinals on Oct. 2. He defeated Quincy in the round of 16 7-5, 6-3 and then battled for a tough three-set win over Ferris State in the quarterfinals 4-6, 6-3, 10-4.

Tiffin's two other singles competitors fell in their round of 16 matches. Michael Gurtner fell to Drury 6-4, 2-6, 11-9, while Matthew Telford also fell in three sets to Grand Valley State 2-6, 6-0, 10-6.

In doubles play, Gurtner/Telford won their round of 16 match over Grand Valley State 8-4 but then fell in the quarterfinals to Ferris State 8-5.
