Tiffin University (8-1), ranked 37th in the latest ITA poll, got an upset win over 24th-ranked Charleston 4-1.

Tiffin fell behind early 1-0 after dropping two of the three doubles matches. Ruben Fonga/Matthew Weaver won their match 6-1, but Michael Gurtner/Matthew Telford fell 6-4 and Gabriel de Oliveira/Cyrille Colomb fell 6-3.

The Dragons swept the necessary singles matches. Fonga continued his hot streak, winning in three sets 3-6, 6-2, 6-4, while Telford also battled to a 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 (12-10) victory. Weaver pulled out another three-setter 6-2, 4-6, 7-5. Matt Saunders got the deciding win for TU in a 6-4, 6-2 win.
