Tiffin University (1-0) had an impressive start to its spring season, shutting out Michigan Tech 7-0.

The Dragons won two of the three doubles matches to take the first point. Michael Gurtner and Matthew Telford won their doubles match 6-3, while Ruben Fonga and Matthew Weaver shut out their opponent 6-0. Cyrille Colomb and Matt Saunders fell 6-2.

In singles play, TU won all the matches in straight sets. Fonga won 6-0, 7-6, Gurtner picked up a 7-6, 6-4 victory, and Matthew Telford won 6-4, 6-2.

Also winning singles matches were Weaver 6-2, 6-1, Colomb 7-5, 6-0, and Saunders 6-2, 7-6.
