A pair of Tiffin University men's tennis players are catching the eye of national raters.

Ruben Fonga is ranked 6th in the nation in singles play, the highest ranking ever for a TU men's tennis player. He is one of only two G-MAC players ranked in the Top 50.

Fonga is also ranked 2nd in the Midwest region and is joined by teammate Michael Gurtner, who is ranked 8th. 

Last year Fonga was ranked 10th on the singles rankings with a 19-5 record including a team-best 10 wins at first singles. Gurtner finished with a 12-5 singles mark. Both players were First Team All G-MAC selections last season.
