Tiffin University's men's tennis team (6-5) blasted past Purdue Northwest with a 7-0 victory.

TU got off on the right foot by sweeping the doubles matches, including two close matches. Ruben Fonga/Matt Weaver nipped Miguel Flores/Marcos Gutierrez 7-6, while Matt Telford/Cyrille Colomb edged Luca Kirchhoff/Bjorgvin Juliusson 6-4. TU made it a clean sweep when Michael Gurtner/Daniel Martinez Roca beat Luis Alvear/Paul Hawes 6-3.

In singles, the Dragons completed the shutout by also picking up some close match victories. Ruben Fonga got a win via retirement over Miguel Flores 6-3, 2-0 (retired), Matt Telford beat Luca Kirchhoff 6-4, 6-3, and Matt Weaver blew past Bjorgvin Juliusson 6-2, 6-4. 

The next three matches were close wins by TU. Cyrille Colomb slipped past Luis Alvear 6-4, 7-6 (7-4), Mattia Colli defeated Jonas Franssen 7-5, 6-3, and Daniel Martinez Roca came back to beat  Paul Hawes 2-6, 6-3, 10-2.
