Tiffin University (3-2) posted five singles victories to dispatch Lake Superior State 5-2.

The Dragons needed to come on strong in singles play after the Lakers won the doubles point by winning two of the three matches. Juho Kantola/Harris Irfan Ul Haq beat Michael Gurtner/Matthew Telford 7-6 to secure the doubles' point, while TU's Ruben Fonga/Matthew Weaver won their match over Ali Sahibzada/Krishan Taneja 6-2. The Lakers' Diego Penz/Xavier VicentNavarro beat Cyrille Colomb/Daniel Martinez Roca 6-2.

In singles, the Dragons won all their matches in straight sets. Michael Gurtner beat Juho Kantola 6-3, 6-4, Ruben Fonga clipped Xavier VicentNavarro 6-2, 6-2, Matthew Telford won the day's toughest match over Krishan Taneja 7-6, 7-6, Matthew Weaver prevailed over Ali Sahibzada 6-2, 7-6, and Mattia Colli won over Diego Penz 6-0, 6-2. Harris Irfan Ul Haq beat TU's Cyrille Colomb 7-6, 6-4.
