Tiffin University (6-6, 1-1 GMAC) lost its first conference contest of the season, falling in a narrow decision to Walsh 4-3.

The contest was full of close matches. The doubles point was ultimately decided by a tie breaker, as Nair Adi/Joe Gilman fell 7-6 (7-5), while Matthew Telford/Gabriel de Oliveira won their match 6-2. Cyrille Colomb/Hugo Chatras fell in their match 6-3.

In singles, Adi won a come from behind 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 match, while Gilman (6-2, 6-2) and Chatras (6-1, 6-1) both won in straight sets. 

The Dragons could not find the elusive fourth point in their other singles matches, with Colomb falling in three sets 6-2, 4-6, 4-6, Matt Saunders losing 2-6, 4-6, and Telford falling 6-3, 6-3.
