TEMPE, Ariz. - Oracle and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced the final rankings for the 2019-20 men's tennis season, and Tiffin's doubles pairing of Nikita Parfenov and Michael Gurtner ends the year ranked ninth in the Midwest Region.

The University of Indianapolis' duo of Dario Huber and Renato Lima led the region. The only other GMAC pairing in the doubles top-ten was Hillsdale's Ivanhoe Lissanevitch and Charlie Adams, who were ranked third.

During the 2019-20 year, Parfenov and Gurtner went 10-9 overall when paired up in doubles, including an 8-6 mark in No. 1 doubles during Tiffin's dual matches.

The duo had been very strong prior to the abrupt end of the season, going 7-3 in their last 10 matches.
