Men's Tennis Slotted 10th in Midwest Region

Oracle and the ITA have released their Spring 2020 Division II Men's Tennis preseason rankings, and Tiffin men's tennis is slotted 10th in the Midwest Region.

The Dragons are coming off a great 2019 season in which they won the Great Midwest Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament championships in their first year as a member of the conference.

Tiffin also had a strong fall, competing in a few tournaments with two players, Hugo Chatras and Nikita Parfenov, earning GMAC Player of the Week honors.

Indianapolis sits atop the Midwest region while also being ranked 12th in the nation. Southwest Baptist (T-13th in DII), Drury (T-20th), Wayne State (RV), and Ferris State round out the top five in the region.

Tiffin is the only member of the GMAC ranked in the region.

The Dragons kick off the spring slate with an exhibition match at Cleveland State this Saturday, with the season officially getting underway on Feb. 1 at Purdue Northwest.
