LEXINGTON, Ohio - Behind strong singles play, Tiffin men's tennis defeated Indiana Tech 5-2 on Saturday.

Despite dropping all three doubles matches, the Dragons were able to win five of six singles matchups to earn the victory.

Nikita Parfenov had the strongest win of the day, defeating his opponent 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2 singles. 

Sorin Navrotchi won a tight 6-4, 7-5 contest at No. 3, and Toby Cutting took a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 4.

The No. 5 singles match was a good one, as Tom Arias dropped the first set 3-6 but rallied to win the next two 6-3 and 6-1.

In the final win for Tiffifn at No. 6 singles, Hugo Chatras won 6-3, 6-4.

The Dragons will be back in action at the Lakewood Racquet Club for the second day in a row when they take on Purdue Northwest tomorrow at 1:00 p.m.
