Conley, Ludena land top honors in All GLIAC selections

Three Dragons Men's Tennis representatives were honored during the announcement of the 2017 GLIAC Men's Tennis All Conference team.

Phil Conley was named GLIAC Coach of the Year, while Luis Ludena was a Second Team pick and Sorin Navrotchi landed Honorable Mention honors.

Conley was named GLIAC Men's Tennis Coach of the Year after leading the Dragons to a 16-7 overall record, the second highest win total in program history. The Dragons finished third overall in the GLIAC with a 6-3 mark. It was Tiffin's highest conference finish in three seasons. He also helped guide the Dragons to three victories over ranked opponents and a regional ranking of 9th in the Midwest Region.

Ludena landed his second All GLIAC citation in his career after landing a First Team honor last year. He went 9-14 overall (3-5 GLIAC) while playing first singles for TU, while also going 16-11 (6-3) in doubles play.

Navrotchi, meanwhile, went 12-3 in singles play, including 6-2 in GLIAC play. He also was 11-9 in doubles, 2-2 GLIAC.
