Dragons sweep Capital, Wooster

Tiffin University (6-1) enjoyed a strong weekend, posting two dominating wins on Sunday with a 9-0 win over Capital and then dispatching Wooster 8-1.

The Dragons only close match against Capital came at first doubles, where Luis Ludena/Toby Cutting battled for a 9-7 victory. Elio Lezama Perez/Agustin Mangone dominated in their match 8-2 while Justin Kopronica/Sorin Navratchi also controlled play 8-1.

Tiffin completely dominated play in singles competition, surrendering only four games over six singles matches. Ludena, Andrew Isaac, Mangone, and Cutting all posted 6-1, 6-0 victories, while Kopronica and Navratchi won in 6-0, 6-0 shutouts.

Against Wooster the Dragons were nearly as dominating, dropping just one singles match. 

Ludena/Cutting won 8-6 in another close victory, while Lezama/Mangone won 8-4 and Isaac/Navratchi won 8-3.

In singles, Ludena won a solid 6-4, 6-4 decision, while Isaac moved up to the second spot and won 6-1, 6-4. After Lezama's close 6-3, 6-7 (3-7), 1-0 (15-13) loss at third singles, Mangone (6-2, 7-5), Cutting (6-2, 6-1) and Kopronica (6-1, 6-1) completed the sweep of the remaining matches.
