Records fell and more championships were won as Tiffin University competed on day two of the GMAC/MEC Swim and Dive Championships.

The Dragons continued their strong showing, remaining in 2nd place of 9 teams after the first two days. Findlay leads the way with 775 points while Tiffin has 567. Malone is right behind TU with 504.

Jonah Sumfleth broke the conference record in the 200 freestyle while qualifying for the finals in the prelims in the morning, and then broke that record in the finals in the evening session as he won the event with a blistering time of 1:39.22. Nick De Robles also came in 6th in the race in 1:43.69, while Christoph Hohenfeld was 8th in 1:45.83.

Miguel Garcia won another title, this time in the 400 IM as he shattered his own record from last season with a B-cut time of 3:59.11. Aubin Dulin finished 5th in the same race in 4:15.42.

Jordan Wright also continued his impressive run in the 1 meter dive, winning the event with a total of 446.40. The score shatters both the Tiffin, GMAC and meet records and qualified him for the NCAA championships again.

Tiffin also had two runner-up finishes. Yun Hung Tan was 2nd in the 100 butterfly in 49.77, while the 400 medley relay team of Sumfleth, Hohenfeld, Tan, and Dulin were also 2nd in 3:25.39.

Tiffin's 200 medley relay team of Nathan Marr, De Robles, Joseph Turley, and Aaron Pirnstill finished 8th in 1:32.41.
