Tiffin takes on tough competition at the Calvin Invite

Tiffin University took on a tough field at the Calvin Invitational hosted by Calvin College, standing in 7th place after the first full day of competition.

Tiffin totaled 219 points and trailed first place Grand Valley State's 1126. Calvin was second with 722 and Northern Michigan had 702.

Christoph Hohenfeld had the top finish for the Dragons, taking 5th in the 100 breaststroke in 57.19.

Yun Hung Tan finished 7th in the 200 butterfly in 1:54.37, while Nick De Robles had the other top finish for the Dragons so far with 8th in the 400 IM in 4:14.49.

Tiffin had two relay squads that finished 6th. The 800 free relay team of Jonah Sumfleth, Tan, Aubin Dulin, and De Robles posted a time of 6:54.08, while the 400 medley relay squad of Sumfleth, Hohenfeld, Miguel Garcia, and Dulin posted a time of 3:24.30.
