Tiffin University's men's swim and dive team posted a 66-61 win over visiting Edinboro Jan. 6, while the women dropped a 89-28 decision as the Dragons hosted their second meet of the season.

Jordan Wright was the lone Dragons participant to hit a provisional mark, as he posted a score of 294.7 in the 1 meter dive.

The men's swimmers posted a number of strong showings. Jonah Sumfleth won three events, posting wins in the 50 freestyle in 21.74, the 100 freestyle in 47.55, and the 200 IM in 2:02.62.

Jan Suchan won two events - the 200 backstroke in 1:56.91 and the 100 backstroke in 52.61. Yun Hung Tan had victories in the 100 butterfly in 52.15 and the 200 butterfly in 1:56.42, while Nick De Robles won the 500 freestyle in 4:56.34 and the 1000 freestyle in 10:35.65. He made it three victories when he also won the 200 freestyle in 1:48.10.

Posting runner-up finishes for TU were Nathan Marr (200 breaststroke in 2:21.10, 100 breaststroke in 1:04.97), Matthew Laporte (1000 freestyle in 10:37.34), the 200 medley relay squad of Suchan, Marr, Tan, and Seth Tessmer (1:39.75), and the 200 freestyle relay team of De Robles, Suchan, Tan, and Sumfleth (1:29.26).

For the women, Catie Gorton had a strong day, winning three events. She posted victories in 100 butterfly in 1:00.01, the 200 IM in 2:17.42, and the 200 butterfly in 2:12.34.

Anastasiia Kvitchenko took 2nd in 100 butterfly (1:01.55), the 200 IM (2:22.72), and the 200 butterfly (2:16.90).
