Dragons finish Day two at EMU Invite

Day two at the Eastern Michigan Invitational concluded in much the same fashion as Day one, as TU's women took third and the men fifth overall.

EMU won the women's meet with 1300.5 points, followed by Wayne State witih 971. Tiffin finished with 199.

Catie Gorton had a good showing, placing in three individual events. She finished 7th in the 100 butterfly in 59.47, and also posted 9th place finishes in the 200 IM in 2:16.93 and the 50 freestyle.

Wixie Lehman also posted a 9th place finish in the 200 free while Izzy Tarchione was 9th in the 500 free.

The men's team totaled 228.5, well behind EMU's winning score of 1268.5.

Jonah Sumfleth also placed in three events, taking 7th in the 100 butterfly in 51.07. He was also 8th in the 100 backstroke and the 200 IM.

Jan Suchan had the highest finish of the day, finishing 5th in the 100 backstroke in 51.48. Jordan Wright was also 6th in the 1 meter dive with 213.20.
