Tiffin University landed nine honorees on the All-GMAC team, as the conference announced its All-Conference selections as voted by the conference coaches.

Leading the way was First Team pick and Defensive Player of the Year John Oshakpemhe. He led a defensive effort that accounted for 10 shutouts on the season while holding opponents to just 8 shots per game and 6.8 shots on goal per contest.

That dominance was seen most clearly over the final three weeks of the regular season as the Dragons won the GMAC regular season championship on the back of a defense that six of seven games in October, all via shutout.

Also landing First Team honors was George McCarthy and Juan Rosique Alvarez. McCarthy scored 3 goals with 2 assists for 8 points out of the mdifield, while Rosique posted 6 goals and 5 assists for 17 points to lead the team in scoring.

Second Team honors went to defender Davide Frezzi and goalkeeper Declan Lehmann, while forwards Malvin Gblah and Michael Owusu and midfielder Kai Yamazaki were also recognized.

Lehmann had a strong 0.94 GAA with 31 saves over 1440 minutes thanks in large part to the defense in front of him. Offensively TU also got the job done, as Gblah scored 5 goals with 3 assists for 13 points and Owusu also totaled 5 goals and 3 assists for 13 points. Yamazaki also started all 15 games he played in and was a mainstay in the midfield.

Third Team honors went to another defender, Thierry van den Bergh, who landed the honor in his debut season for the Dragons. Van den Bergh led the team with 5 assists along with a goal for 7 points.
