Tiffin University (3-2-2, 2-1-2 GMAC) held the lead twice but managed to settle for a draw with 11th-ranked Walsh (7-0-2, 4-0-1) 3-3.

A strong wind blew towards the south goal throughout the game, giving each team a distinct advantage when the wind was at their backs. In the first half, TU ran its offense efficiently, scoring twice off of five total shots to lead 2-0 at the half.

Tiffin got on the board in the 13th minute when Mounir Boutarfa scored on a penalty kick after a foul in the box.

TU made it 2-0 when Malvin Gblah drilled home a shot on a cross from Michael Owusu in the 28th minute.

After halftime, Walsh went on the attack. They pressed their attack, holding a 9-1 edge in corner kicks in the half and scoring in the 48th minute off a set play to make it 2-1.

They equalized in the 59th minute off another corner kick which Daniel Price headed home to tie the score 2-2.

The Dragons retook the lead in the 60th minute, with Juan Rosique Alvarez chipping in a shot off a pass from Gblah to go ahead 3-2.

Walsh tied it again off a play aided by the wind, as a long kick by Nathan Kolke bounced high and off a defender into the TU net.

Overall the Dragons held a 12-6 shot advantage but could only muster one corner kick chance (9-1 Walsh advantage).

Declan Lehmann got the draw in goal, making one save over 90 minutes.
