Tiffin University (2-2-1, 1-1-1 GMAC) suffered their first GMAC setback, falling to Ashland at home 2-0.

The Dragons battled back and forth with the Eagles until the 33rd minute when David Schneider headed a corner from Vander Rocha into the left corner of the net to put Ashland ahead 1-0 heading to the halftime break.

A red card by the Dragons in the 51st minute forced them to play a man down for most of the second half, but the Dragons still kept up the attack, outshooting Ashland 8-6 in the half while also holding a 7-3 edge overall in corner kicks.

TU could not find the net, however, and a goal by Haruki Kimura in the 89th minute sealed the victory for the Eagles.

Overall TU outshot Ashland 15-12. Ashland held a slight 6-5 edge in shots on goal.

Declan Lehmann took the loss in goal, making 4 saves and allowing 2 goals over 90 minutes.
