The Tiffin University men's soccer team will host Walsh University on Thursday Oct. 21 for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff and then head to Lake Erie on Saturday, Oct. 23 at 1:00 p.m.

Dragon Details:

The Dragons went 0-1-1 last week, tying Ohio Dominican 1-1.

The Dragons' offense is led by Joel Daly who has scored six goals (5th in the GMAC), two assists, and has 53 shots with 25 on target (1st in the GMAC). Caleb Gibbons has three goals and one assist and teammate Davide Frezzi registered one goal and three assists this season.

In goal for the Dragons will be Declan Lehman who has played all 13 games for a 5-5-3 record, recorded 39 saves with a .709 save percentage, and posted a 1.16 goals-against average.

 

Scouting the Cavaliers:

Walsh went 1-0-1 with a win against Kentucky Wesleyan and a tie against Ohio Dominican.

Leading goal scorers for Walsh are Patrick O'Halloran who has scored four goals and three assists and Jac Humphreys who recorded three goals and two assists this season.

In goal for the Cavaliers is Andrew Boulton who has started ten games and registered a 1.47 goals-against average, 35 saves, and a .700 save percentage.

The Dragons lead the all-time series against the Cavaliers 28-9-2, with their last meeting coming on April 19, 2021 when Tiffin won 7-2.

 

Scouting the Storm:

Lake Erie went 1-1 last week with a win against Trevecca.    

The Storm offense is led by Ayden Von Essen with five goals and Teddy Baker who has netted three goals and two assists.

In goal for Lake Erie is Tom John who has started seven games with a 4-2-1 record, played 647:41 minutes with a 1.11 goals-against average, 30 saves and a .789 save percentage.

The Dragons lead the all-time series against the Storm 11-3, with their last meeting coming on Sept. 18, 2021 when the Storm won 1-0.
