The Dragons pounded ODU with 31 shots while allowing only 7. The defense also allowed just 2 shots on goal while putting 9 shots on target offensively.
TU got on the board in the first minute of the game, as Caleb Gibbons took a pass from Davide Frezzi to jump in front.
ODU equalized in the 10th minute, as Shingai Nindi scored off a pass from Mo Sheik.
Frezzi had TU's last chance in regulation, putting a shot on target in the 83rd minute but the shot was saved as TU headed to overtime. TU held a 16-2 shot advantage in the second half.
In the two overtime periods, TU held a 8-2 shot edge, with George McCarthy getting a chance in the 104th minute and Gibbons another in the 109th minute but both shots were saved.
Declan Lehman made one save in 110 minutes of action.
