Men’s Soccer Travel to Face Conference Opponents Malone and Trevecca Nazarene

The Tiffin University men's soccer team will face Malone on the road on Thursday, Oct. 7 with a 7:00 p.m. kickoff and then battle conference foe Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday, Oct. 9 at 3:30 p.m.

Dragon Details:

The Dragons went 2-0 last week with wins against Trevecca Nazarene and Kentucky Wesleyan. 

The Dragons' offense is led by Joel Daly who scored two goals and one assist so far this season. Mounir Boutarfa has two goals this season and teammate Davide Frezzi registered one goal and one assist this season.  

In goal for the Dragons will be Declan Lehman who played all 864:57 minutes this season with a 3-4-2 record, 32 saves, a .727 save percentage, and a 1.25 goals-against average. 

 

Scouting the Pioneers:

Malone went 0-2 last week against conference opponents.

Leading goal scorers for Malone are Antoine Leheron, who has scored three goals and two assists, and Gavin Csiszar with two goals and one assist. 

In goal for the Pioneers is Logan Smith who has started all nine games and registered a 3.74 goals-against average, 40 saves, and a .563 save percentage. 

The Dragons lead the all-time series against the Eagles 23-7-2, with their last meeting coming on April 1, 2021 when the Dragons won 4-0.

Trevecca Nazarene went 0-2 last week against Tiffin and Findlay.   

The Trojans' offense is led by Ben Singer with three goals and Michael Jones who has registered two goals and one assist. 

In goal for Trevecca is Adan Gonzalez who has started six games with a 2-3-1 record, played 526:02 minutes, logged a 1.03 goals-against average, 21 saves and a .778 save percentage. 

The Dragons lead the all-time series against the Trojans 4-0, with their last meeting coming on October 30, 2021 when the Dragons won 1-0.
