Dragons' defense shines in 1-0 win over Trojans

Tiffin University (2-4-2, 1-2-2 GMAC) took advantage of an early penalty kick opportunity to down Trevecca Nazarene 1-0 for their first conference win of the season.

Tiffin got a PK chance in the 38th minute on a red card issued in the box after a foul on a breakaway opportunity for the Dragons. Davide Frezzi capitalized with the goal to put TU up 1-0.

Now playing a man up on the Trojans, TU expanded on a 9-5 halftime edge in shots as well as a 4-1 edge in corners. The Dragons' defense only allowed 4 total shots on goal in the game, as Declan Lehman got the win in goal with 4 saves in 90 minutes.

Overall TU outshot TNU 16-7 and held a strong 10-2 advantage in corner kicks.
