Abdoul Magid Sy has been named GMAC Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week.

On a chilly and windy day, the Dragons received a boost from the senior playmaker to help propel his team into the next round of the postseason.
 
Magid Sy was responsible for both goals scored as Tiffin edged out No. 5 seed Walsh 2-1 in last Saturday's quarterfinal.
 
Magid Sy gave his team a boost off the bench and scored late in the first half as Leo Hasenstab found him for the opening score.
 
After Walsh evened things up in the 67th minute, Magid Sy crashed the box on a corner kick by teammate Lukas Manneck for the winning goal as the game looked destined to be headed into overtime.
 
Magid Sy's second goal of the game came at the 89:11 mark in the second half.
