Tiffin University (10-3, 8-2 G-MAC) got the offense rolling early and then let the defense handle the rest, dispatching Alderson Broaddus 3-1.

TU got two first half goals, one early and one late, to score all the goals they would need. Ramiesh McKnight took a pass from Nemanja Jandric in the 2nd minute to give TU a 1-0 lead, while Darren Appanah took a nice two touch pass from Kingsley Amakohene and Malik Suleman in the 43rd minute to give TU a 2-0 lead at halftime.

The Battlers got a goal back in the 53rd minute, but TU put the game away in the 86th minute when Tom Maas scored off a pass from Appanah. 

The defense refused to open any doors for the Battlers, allowing only two shots on goal in the game. Overall TU outshot AB 15-8 while also holding a 4-2 edge in corner kicks. 

Dylan Morris got the win in goal, making one save over 90 minutes.
