Tiffin University (8-2, 6-2 GLIAC) came back to tie the game against Saginaw Valley State in the second half but gave up a goal with 3 minutes to play in falling in a key GLIAC matchup 2-1.

After the Cardinals took the lead with a goal in the 30th minute, TU equalized in the 58th minute when Andre Landell knocked in a shot from the left side off a pass from Dylan O'Kane. But the game turned against TU when a header went in the left side of the net off a corner kick in the 87th minute.

TU led 10-9 in shots but could only manage 2 shots on goal and 2 corner kicks in the game. The Cardinals had 4 shots on goal with 5 corners.

Cary Wilson took the loss in goal, making 2 saves over 90 minutes.
