Tiffin Ends in a Tie for Fourth Place

 

The Dragons ended four-over-par as a team in the final round of the Doc Spragg Invite, finishing in a tie for fourth place with fellow G-MAC member, Ashland.

Ferris State leap-frogged Tiffin on the final day to earn third place behind Findlay in second and tournament-winners, Grand Valley State.

Leading the way for TU was Ryan Norkin (69-71-74; 214), ending the tournament two-under-par in a tie for 16th place. Mitchell Brassard (70-71-75; 216) and Johan Widal (72-71-73; 216) followed just two strokes behind, finishing even for the tournament and in a tie for 22nd.

Matt Flynn (75-71-75; 221) shot three-over-par in round three to finish tied for 46th, followed by Justin Hand (75-79-70; 224) who was the only Dragon to shoot under par on the final day in a tie for 57th.

Tiffin will compete in its final tournament of the fall next week when it travels to Farmington, Pennsylvania for the Nemacolin Intercollegiate.
