Dragons rise to 6th on final day of Doc Spragg Invite

Tiffin University had another solid round on the final day of the Doc Spragg Invitational, finishing 6th of 17 teams.

The Dragons equaled their round two score of 287 to total 864 over the three rounds. 

Grand Valley State won with 840, followed closely by Findlay with 845. Wayne State was third with 850, while Missouri-St. Louis had 851 and Ashland 858.

Johan Widal finished 7th overall, shooting a strong 70 on the final day to total 211. Justin Hand also finished 16th, shooting 73 for a final score of 215.

Mitchell Brassard had the second-best third-round score for TU with 71, giving him 219 overall. David Siegel shot 73 for 221, and Matt Flynn cut four strokes off his second-round score by shooting 74 for 226.

Garrett Kuppler finished with 227 as an individual.
