Tiffin University was tied for third after day one of the Saginaw Valley Spring Invitational.

Grand Valley State led the crowded field with a low of 289. Hillsdale was right on the Lakers's heels with 291, followed by Saginaw Valley and Tiffin both tied with 292.

Britton Hensel led the Dragons with 70, placing third overall. Nico Kyprian also made the top 10, finishing the day in 8th with 72. 

Noah Barth shot 73, while Cameron McCloskey finished the day with 77 and Justin Hand was at 79.

David Siegel shot as an individual and finished with 76.
