Dragons finish 5th at Motor City Invite

Tiffin University remained consistent on day two of the Motor City Invitational played at TPC of Michigan in Dearborn, Michigan.

The Dragons finished all alone in 5th place of 16 teams, shooting 307 after posting a 308 in round one for a 615 total. Wayne State won the event with 591, while Findlay was second with 603. Northwood took third with 608, while Davenport just edged out the Dragons with 614.

Britton Hensel posted a Top 10 finish with a 9th place mark, falling from 73 to 78 for 151. Cameron McCloskey was 14th, improving by two strokes from 77 to 75 for 152.

Noah Barth was next with 156 off rounds of 77 and 79, while David Siegel had the day's best improvement, cutting 7 strokes off his score (82-75) for 157. Nico Kyprian also posted identical rounds of 81 for 162.

"Our men battled the elements for a solo 5th place finish," said Head Coach Jacob Miller. "We now have the next five months to tune things up and find ways for us to improve on and off the course."
